Joey & Debbie Milla started the winery with the support of the family. Joey is third generation wine maker and has been making wine for the family since he was in diapers. The winery got started in 2004 and Joey & Debbie were married May of 2005.
They have 5 children (all 4 legged). It started with one but Corkey seemed lonely so P.D. suckered the Millas into adopting him. After that came Tawny, who was found on the side of the highway and nursed back to health after a long string of health issues.
Ruby stole their hearts while working at the fair one year. She is a very energetic child and loves playing fetch and wrestling her brothers & sister. Last but not least is little Bruzier. Debbie was at the shelter one day and was told that he HAD to be taken home. Once she finally realized what that meant, she couldn't let that little guy with his tongue hanging out be put down. He was a foster dog thinking he ws going to fly to Canada, but they just couldn't give him up.
Joey and Debbie both love cooking and having people in their backyard and winery enjoying food and wine, their passions. Anytime you come out to the winery you will be greeted by either Joey or Debbie, themselves. You will have a chance to talk with Joey and learn anything you want to know about wine and winemaking.
Joey & Debbie are both very active in the community and believe that Fresno is a wonderful place to live and hope to spread the word to everyone that Fresno is a great community with many things to see and do. As Debbie says "Fresno is a big town with a small town feel"
